Call for abstracts – IV International Conference on Online Journalism

The ObCiber – Observatório do Ciberjornalismo invites submissions for its IV International Conference on Online Journalism – December 04-05, 2014 – in the University of Porto, Portugal, under the general theme of “Quality and Credibility on Online Journalism”.

Abstracts – either in Portuguese, Spanish, French or English – should be sent to obciber@gmail.com. The 500 words abstract should include the topic and its relevance, the hypothesis or main argument, conceptual and methodological framework, expected results and up to 5 keywords. There are to be no biographical notes or references within the abstract which must be accompanied by a separate cover letter, for blind review purposes, only with the author(s) name(s), institutional affiliation(s) and postal and e-mail address(es).

Papers can be presented at the conference in Portuguese, Spanish, French or English, but the slides must be in English.

III International Conference on Cyberjournalism: List of papers accepted

The Organization of the III International Conference of Cyberjournalism received a record number of 42 proposals for papers presented by researchers from 10 countries (a number that also exceeds that of the first two editions): Portugal, Spain, Brazil, Colombia, United States, United Kingdom, Denmark, Italy, Greece and Turkey.

The Scientific Committee approved the 30 proposals (see list).

Paper proposal – either in Portuguese, Spanish or English – should be sent to obciber@gmail.com. The 500 words abstract should include the topic and its relevance, the hypothesis or main argument, conceptual and methodological framework, expected results and up to 5 keywords.
